Detecting the remaining material by continuous radar transmitter

 

Food manufactures applies lots of batch operation, in which every process is completed in one tank. Old materials are replaced after one process completed because of quality and sanitary issue.

In most batch application, the remaining materials are confirmed by visual check.

 

Instead of visual check, the radar transmitter can accurately detect the remaining materials.

The remaining material can be detected by the reflection difference from the empty condition.

 

Benefits:

The level switch cannot detect all materials remaining in the silo (e.g., materials built up on the wall), but the radar transmitter can detect all material in the silo.
